Joanna and Giles Engagement Session, Point Cartwright
Most times when I book a wedding couple we meet over coffee and go through collections and just chat in general and I get a pretty good idea of what they like, their personalities and their relationship!
Also sometimes it isn’t possible to meet straight up and a couple books with me and we catch up at a later date. Joanna and Giles are getting married in September and we caught up for chats and coffee. We planned their engagement session for July.
Point Cartwright was the place for it to happen we had to reschedule a couple of times due to sickness but the afternoon we went out couldn’t have been more perfect, well we could have done with a little less wind. The sunset was so pretty as they are mostly during July/August!
These two enjoyed lots of laughter and snuggles trying to keep warm.
Tara + Rob’s Surprise Wedding at Pier33 Mooloolaba
It’s always a little bit exciting when a wedding enquiry comes through to my email, but I really love when I have enquiries for surprise weddings at an engagement party!
Tara and I had been in touch and we talked about how their surprise wedding was to announced. How was it all planned to make sure the secret wasn’t let out, who knew and who didn’t!
Once I arrived to the venue Pier33 at Mooloolaba and walked upstairs, I was blown away by Tara’s styling. The theme was tropical and immediately I felt like I was in a paradise location! We have gorgeous views of Mooloolaba wharf with all the boats on the water, tropical plants and flowers, drinks served in coconuts. It was very welcoming with a relaxing vibe and didn’t scream ‘Surprise we are getting married’!
Once all the guests had arrived, Tara disappeared for a little bit to change into her Fame and Partners gown while everyone was gathered to the deck.
After the Pierr33 housekeeping was announced Bruno Mars – Marry you came on and everyone was not really knowing what was going on, then out walked Tara with her dad!
There were cheers, clapping and tears, lots of tears!
After exchanging vows and rings Tara and Rob mingled and danced the night away with their family and friends. We didn’t have a Bride and Groom photos as they are going to honeymoon in May to Ayres Rock. Tara knows her way with a camera, she will set up the camera self timer for their shots! I am looking forward to seeing these, I’m pretty sure they will be incredible!
Although Tara styled the event herself and with the help of their families, there were a few suppliers that helped bring it all together Chocolate2chilli made the cake, Posy Co for flowers, Silvana Marin Celebrant, music by Caribbean Arts and Entertainment Company, Tara’s hair by Haras &Co, Tara’s makeup by her sister in law Kate.
Thankyou Tara and rob for booking me to photograph your special, it was a load of fun!
Congratulations again! Can’t wait to catch up soon and see your images from NT

Sunshine Coast Engagement Session
Wild Horse Mountain, Glass House Mountains
Imagine attending a wedding expo and winning $5000 towards your wedding!
That’s what happened to Bek and Callum. Whilst attending Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo in May 2017. Bek bought her ticket online, turned up and waited for the draw for the prize and when her name was call out, the look on her face was priceless!
Now she had $5000 to spend on her wedding just for buying her ticket and being present while the prize was drawn, we had a quick chat and decided we would make a date to catch up for coffee so I could meet Callum and from there wet hit it off!
We have been keeping in touch regularly and finally got around to organising their engagement session which Bek requested we use the Pine Forest at Wild Horse Mountain location! I had no idea where this area was so after a little drive around I found this spot.
I love it! It has the Pine Forest on one side which is off a dirt road and wait for it, a pineapple farm on the opposite side, what more could you want in a location?
Once we started the session I gave Bek and Callum a couple of prompts to help them relax a little bit and create the mood we wanted for their session, they were being all romantic and connecting emotionally with each other.
I was wanting to try something a little different with them and brought some Coloured Smoke Bombs with me and it was time to light them up for a bit of a different effect, and I love what we created.
I cannot wait for their wedding day in July at Maleny Botanic Gardens. Two and a half months and counting down.
To win $5000 like Bek and Callum visit the next Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo at Maroochy RSL, Sunday 20th May 2018 from 11am to 3pm.

I was a little bit excited that Courtnay and Andrzej’s wedding day had arrived. Courtnay had been counting down until their big day!
Surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends, Courtnay and Andrzej were married under the Jacaranda tree at Spicers Clovelly Estate by Karen Miles Celebrant, who wrote the most perfect ceremony. Karen has also married Courtnay’s cousin a few years earlier and I could see why they asked Karen to officiate their commitment!
With a wonderful team of professional suppliers, which a couple were very talented friends of the Bride and Groom their day ran perfectly!
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Courtnay and Andrzej’s wedding day!
Bestest Wishes on your new adventure together!

”A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person, we’re safe in our own paradise.”

Cindy and Bill, WOW where to start. This wedding was jammed packed full of fun!
Cindy and Bill’s wedding at The Old Dairy in Maleny was one I don’t think I will forget for a long time. The guys got ready at The Old Dairy as they were to setup for the wedding. When I arrived they had just finished setting up, I caught them having a bit of fun with the outdoor entertainment as you will see in the images.
Cindy and the girls were getting ready and Cindy and Bill’s place and were pretty relaxed. Once they were ready we stepped outside. Cindy and Bill live on a horse stud and when Cindy walked outside one of the horse’s went crazy, so Cindy went to calm him down (you see when you scroll down to the images). It definitely was a beautiful moment!
Cindy and Bill exchanged gifts, Bill made his own card for Cindy (Cindy is a scrapbook lover), they read out each others cards and it was goosebumpy stuff!
We had Grandmothers waiting for Cindy when she arrived to The Old Dairy, they were part of Cindy’s bridal party and were escorted down to ceremony by Cindy’s brother.
Keep a look out for Bill’s face when he see’s his beauty walk towards him, one of the best moments I ever get to see at weddings.
Jay wrote a fabulous ceremony which included a handfasting ceremony that had their family and friends included in the wedding.
Once the party began we quickly went for photos and back to reception where Cindy surprised Bill with a choreographed dance she learnt just for him!
Cindy and Bill honeymooned in Thailand!
Thankyou both Cindy and Bill for sharing your special day with me
