Noosa North Shore Wedding s are under rated.
Beautiful beaches, great venues and endless locations for photos to choose from.
Aimee and Mitchell set up their wedding at First Cutting Noosa North Shore.
I knew these guys would be a bit emotional so I was ready for it. I had the pleasure of working with some incredible vendors (check out Aimee and Mitchell’s Dream team list above) but first time working with Kirsty Spencer Celebrant. Kirsty wrote a ceremony tailored to Aimee and Mitchell and nailed it and I hope to be able to work with her again as she was a lot of fun. She told Aimee and Mitchell’s story which represented who they are and captured their personalities.
I just want to make a special to Aimee’s make up artist Sian Howard Makeup whom I have worked with before and love her. When Aimee was just about ready to walk out the door Sian reapplied lippy and then sprayed sunscreen over Aimee so she wouldn’t burn.
I loved this extra special touch Sian had done.
I asked Aimee a few questions about her wedding day below
Can you give any tips for couples on how to prepare for your wedding day?
Organisation and lots of lists, best thing we did was bought a wedding planner book and started planning early. When it comes to the actual day best advice I was given was “doesn’t matter what happens or if anything goes wrong, as long as you are married to Mitch at the end of today that’s all the matters and what you are here for”
Were you nervous about walking down the aisle?
I was so nervous , not because I was about to see Mitch but because I knew everyone’s eyes would be on me. My dad actually grabbed my leg in the car and told me to stop shaking.
What were you feeling walking down the aisle looking at your husband/wife to be?
I was overjoyed with happiness and so much love
Was the groom/bride waiting at the alter emotional when he/she saw you for the first time? How did that make you feel?
I knew Mitch would be emotional but I was not expecting the reaction I got from him. He was really emotional which made me emotional and I just wanted to give him a big hug
What was your favourite moment from your beautiful wedding day?
Our favourite moment was definitely seeing each other at the aisle
If you had a bridal party why did you choose who you chose?
We choose important people to us and who we know will be around for a long time to stand by us on one of our most important days. They have all been there for us through thick and thin
How would you describe your overall wedding day experience?
Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing, it lived up to all the hype and we had the most perfect, relaxed and beautiful day
Tell me about your wedding dress
I had my heart set on a long sleeve, low back dress for a long time, it was just a matter of finding one. My friend came across GLL and I fell in love with my dress online. I wasn’t interested in going to any other dress shops or trying other dresses on until I went to Grace Love Laces, it was the first dress I got to put on and I teared up as soon as I had it on, I knew it was the one. I tried a few more dresses on but nothing compared to the MAI. It was perfect, long sleeve, low back, beautiful lace with a split at the front which was prefect for the beach. It was the most comfortable dress and so easy to move and dance in all night!
Did anything go wrong on your wedding day? Crazy story?
Not actually on the wedding day, but Mitch decided to take my sister and I for a spin in the wedding car on the beach 2 days before the wedding and got us bogged up to the axle, he had my sister and I trying to push him out but there was no way we were pushing it out and the tide was almost high. I had to call my step dad, dad and uncle and get them to come down and snatch him out
Where did you escape to for your honeymoon? Would you recommend it to other couples?
We went to Thailand and we stayed in Phuket and Koh Samui. It was a great place to relax and unwind

Vaningen Family Holiday from Victoria
The Vaningen family recently holidayed at Noosa from Victoria and booked their family session through Travelshoot.
We had a great afternoon playing in the sand, water and air ha ha.
It took me a little bit to gain trust from their little ones but once they were all good with me they talked my ear off.
Glad they had fabulous weather while they were visiting!

Laura and Ryan travelled from Western Australia to Elope with Pash and Dash Weddings at Maleny Manor.
Laura and Ryan booked with me to have photos after their ceremony and photos with the Pash and Dash crew we headed up to One Tree Hill, Maleny in the pouring rain. But that’s ok we had clear umbrella’s to help keep majority of everyone somewhat dry. Deluxe Kombi Service was transport between photo locations and helped with equipment and umbrellas.
Once stopped at One Tree Hill the rained had stopped enough to head into the paddock for a few photos and it was so worth it…..the light was great, rain had stopped and there was a little bit of mist around to set the scene.
Up at The Chapel in Montville for a few more photos inside the Chapel and then up to Noosa along the boardwalk and back to Noosa Boathouse for the reception.
If you are worried about rain on your wedding day don’t be. Talk to your suppliers about your concerns so we can reassure you and work around the weather.
Congratulations Laura and Ryan!
Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together

From the moment I spoke to Laura over the phone I knew this wedding was going to alot of fun! It was all kinds of special from the ceremony right through to dancing the night away at reception.
Laura and Adam’s guests came all the way from South Australia to see what Noosa had to offer and boy it didn’t disappoint.
Laura and Adam were married by David from Marry Me David (see link above) in a fun and personal ceremony. David’s didn’t finish there he was also the MC for the night at reception, he done such a great job and was fantastic working with him. He got to know Laura and Adam so well you would have thought he was a family member, hats off to you David……What a fabulous day!
Laura and Adam wanted a pretty chilled wedding and that’s exactly what they had, all their suppliers made their day run so smoothly, ceremony and reception setup looked amazing, Ricky’s was incredible, their service and food were outstanding, and the venue itself is perfectly situated on the Noosa River.
I have never been to a wedding where the bridal party choreographed a dance for the Bride and Grooms first dance…..EPIC in so many ways and I need to get my hands on the video. Laura and Adam started their dance to Michael Jackson’s “the way you make me feel” then half way through in come the bridal party and they all danced to “Thriller” was fantastic!
Here’s how Adam proposed to Laura
” After going out for an amazing dinner at Spice Bar, Mooloolaba, We went for a stroll to the beach. We were standing there watching the waves rolling in and he pulled out the ring and struggled to get much out apart from “this is for you”. And then he was a stuttering mess asking me if he should get down on one knee!
It was very cute and sweet to see how nervous he really was even though we have been together for almost 14 years already!”
So beautiful Adam!!
Congratulations again guys, and thankyou for having me there to celebrate your day with you both and your loved ones!!!

What a beautiful day for a Fairytale Wedding!
Amberly loves all things Disney so of course she had to incorporate into her wedding day!
We walked in the door to where Amberly was getting ready with tonnes of Cinderella balloons floating around the room, Amberly’s jewellery was Disney princesses Cinderella charms, her dress was designed from Alfred Angelo’s Disney Princess Range in the Rapunzel gown. and it was simply stunning and suited Amberly so beautifully!
Amberly arrived princess style in a classic car to meet her prince Phil at the alter. Darienne wrote a beautiful ceremony for Phil and Amberly which suited them to a tee, reminiscing about how they met, how Phil proposed and their promises to each other!
We travelled down to the beach for photos and as we had just arrived, there was a couple of horses up the beach heading towards us, talk about perfect timing and we had a few photos with the horses.
Congratulations Amberly and Phil!
Best Wishes and have a great time on your honeymoon!
