Bek loves Callum
Sunshine Coast Engagement Session
Wild Horse Mountain, Glass House Mountains
Imagine attending a wedding expo and winning $5000 towards your wedding!
That’s what happened to Bek and Callum. Whilst attending Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo in May 2017. Bek bought her ticket online, turned up and waited for the draw for the prize and when her name was call out, the look on her face was priceless!
Now she had $5000 to spend on her wedding just for buying her ticket and being present while the prize was drawn, we had a quick chat and decided we would make a date to catch up for coffee so I could meet Callum and from there wet hit it off!
We have been keeping in touch regularly and finally got around to organising their engagement session which Bek requested we use the Pine Forest at Wild Horse Mountain location! I had no idea where this area was so after a little drive around I found this spot.
I love it! It has the Pine Forest on one side which is off a dirt road and wait for it, a pineapple farm on the opposite side, what more could you want in a location?
Once we started the session I gave Bek and Callum a couple of prompts to help them relax a little bit and create the mood we wanted for their session, they were being all romantic and connecting emotionally with each other.
I was wanting to try something a little different with them and brought some Coloured Smoke Bombs with me and it was time to light them up for a bit of a different effect, and I love what we created.
I cannot wait for their wedding day in July at Maleny Botanic Gardens. Two and a half months and counting down.
To win $5000 like Bek and Callum visit the next Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo at Maroochy RSL, Sunday 20th May 2018 from 11am to 3pm.

”A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person, we’re safe in our own paradise.”

Cindy and Bill, WOW where to start. This wedding was jammed packed full of fun!
Cindy and Bill’s wedding at The Old Dairy in Maleny was one I don’t think I will forget for a long time. The guys got ready at The Old Dairy as they were to setup for the wedding. When I arrived they had just finished setting up, I caught them having a bit of fun with the outdoor entertainment as you will see in the images.
Cindy and the girls were getting ready and Cindy and Bill’s place and were pretty relaxed. Once they were ready we stepped outside. Cindy and Bill live on a horse stud and when Cindy walked outside one of the horse’s went crazy, so Cindy went to calm him down (you see when you scroll down to the images). It definitely was a beautiful moment!
Cindy and Bill exchanged gifts, Bill made his own card for Cindy (Cindy is a scrapbook lover), they read out each others cards and it was goosebumpy stuff!
We had Grandmothers waiting for Cindy when she arrived to The Old Dairy, they were part of Cindy’s bridal party and were escorted down to ceremony by Cindy’s brother.
Keep a look out for Bill’s face when he see’s his beauty walk towards him, one of the best moments I ever get to see at weddings.
Jay wrote a fabulous ceremony which included a handfasting ceremony that had their family and friends included in the wedding.
Once the party began we quickly went for photos and back to reception where Cindy surprised Bill with a choreographed dance she learnt just for him!
Cindy and Bill honeymooned in Thailand!
Thankyou both Cindy and Bill for sharing your special day with me

From the moment I spoke to Laura over the phone I knew this wedding was going to alot of fun! It was all kinds of special from the ceremony right through to dancing the night away at reception.
Laura and Adam’s guests came all the way from South Australia to see what Noosa had to offer and boy it didn’t disappoint.
Laura and Adam were married by David from Marry Me David (see link above) in a fun and personal ceremony. David’s didn’t finish there he was also the MC for the night at reception, he done such a great job and was fantastic working with him. He got to know Laura and Adam so well you would have thought he was a family member, hats off to you David……What a fabulous day!
Laura and Adam wanted a pretty chilled wedding and that’s exactly what they had, all their suppliers made their day run so smoothly, ceremony and reception setup looked amazing, Ricky’s was incredible, their service and food were outstanding, and the venue itself is perfectly situated on the Noosa River.
I have never been to a wedding where the bridal party choreographed a dance for the Bride and Grooms first dance…..EPIC in so many ways and I need to get my hands on the video. Laura and Adam started their dance to Michael Jackson’s “the way you make me feel” then half way through in come the bridal party and they all danced to “Thriller” was fantastic!
Here’s how Adam proposed to Laura
” After going out for an amazing dinner at Spice Bar, Mooloolaba, We went for a stroll to the beach. We were standing there watching the waves rolling in and he pulled out the ring and struggled to get much out apart from “this is for you”. And then he was a stuttering mess asking me if he should get down on one knee!
It was very cute and sweet to see how nervous he really was even though we have been together for almost 14 years already!”
So beautiful Adam!!
Congratulations again guys, and thankyou for having me there to celebrate your day with you both and your loved ones!!!

September 7th 2017 couldn’t arrive quick enough for these two, it was pretty obvious from our first meeting at a cafe that Samantha and Jarrod had a beautiful connection and it showed at the engagement session! They are completely comfortable with each other, no awkwardness in their photos, just pure adoration for each other!
Samantha and Jarrod’s wedding was a real family affair, Jarrod and his groomsmen were getting ready at his parents place with all his family there, and Samantha and her bridesmaids were at Samantha’s parents place with Samantha’s family getting ready. They had Aunties, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters, Parents, Grandparents, Nieces and Nephews.
Paula Koda Sunshine Coast Celebrant wrote their ceremony which was beautifully written and special just for Samantha and Jarrod!
After the ceremony we were taken to a spot on the golf course by the event coordinator of Pelican Waters Golf Club and as we were running behind schedule we got through photos fairly quickly.
It took a little bit for Jarrod and Samantha’s Nephew to join in on the photos but once he did there was no stopping him, he wanted photos with the big boys!
Oh and I need to mention an outstanding speech from Samantha’s MOH which she surprised everyone with by turning it into a rap song, so good and very clever!
One thing I always ask my couples to do is fill in a questionnaire for me, it gives me a bit of an insight into their relationship and I was totally blown away by some of their answers, so I am going to share one from each of theirs.
I asked Samantha ” What is one of the sweetest, most romantic things your partner has done for you?”
Her reply ” I’ll never forget our 1 year anniversary , where he came to my house dressed in a suit with a beautiful bunch of flowers and took me out for an amazing romantic dinner! “
Jarrod’s question “Describe your memories around the moment you realised your partner was more than just a friend?”
Jarrod’s reply ” I knew she was never going to be just my friend, so I stayed persistent. She has the best personality and is the most kind hearted woman I have ever met! “
These too were supposed to meet and become soul mates!
Congratulations Samantha and Jarrod and all the best for your future together and new adventures as Mr and Mrs!

Halee and Matt Elope | Maroochydore Botanical Gardens
It’s not always necessary to have a big huge wedding! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Halee and Matt have already been together for a long time, have three gorgeous children and expecting their fourth in 2017, they were after something low key with the people that matter to them most. They spoke with Toni Collett Celebrant who wrote them a gorgeous ceremony, Toni recommended me to do their photos and that was it! No decorations, no fancy dresses or suits.
They wanted little fuss as possible and it was completely perfect for them.
There were many many laughs and tears and very relaxed.
It was a very small intimate gathering, and I just loved it.
After the ceremony and signing of the papers we did a few photos and then Halee, Matt, their children and guests went out for lunch to celebrate!
CONGRATULATIONS Halee and Matt!
I wish you both all the happiness for you and your growing family xxx
